The Middle East swing is set to come to a close for another year, but before that happens the ATP
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships needs to be played out with some lucrative prizes on the end for the tennis players competing to get their hands on.
It may not be as stacked in terms of top 10 players as some other events but the class is still there with two title winners in 2026 stepping up to the court as favourites.
Felix Auger-Aliassime endured a hugely disappointing Australian Open after retiring in his opening match despite so much promise with an upturn in form. He replied emphatically with a title at the Open Occitanie. He followed it up with a final defeat in the ABN AMRO Open against Alex de Minaur but the signs are there that he is set to continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
The same can be said for
Alexander Bublik who is now a regular among the top 10 in the world. He earned that place outright with a number of titles collected over the past 12 months, with the most recent coming in the Hong Kong Open at the start of the year. His incredible rise looks set to continue as he eyes up glory in Dubai.
Jack Draper looks like he is finally going to return to the ATP Tour. Delayed comebacks due to an arm injury saw him miss events in Rotterdam and Qatar but by the looks of it he will be challenging the best players in the world again as the former world number four looks to rise up the ranks to where he was when he was sidelined.
The fourth and fifth seed are a pair of Czechs competing in the Qatar Open. Jakub Mensik and Jiri Lehecka will hope to continue the positive momentum created in Doha and beforehand in 2026 to battle it out deep in this tournament. The same can also be said for Tomas Machac who boosts Czech Republic's hopes in the UAE.
Denis Shapovalov makes the trip from the United States after reaching the Dallas Open semi-final. While it was a failed title defence, a last-four showing is positive signs from the Canadian. Tallon Griekspoor is the final seed locked into the field. A brace of Frenchman follow in the form of Arthur Rinderknech and Ugo Humbert before we get to the
defending champion.
Stefanos Tsitsipas is set to lose out on a bunch of ranking points after his success last year. A drop down the rankings is becoming a huge possibility if he is not able to gain back his hard-earned ranking points.
Stefanos Tsitsipas won the 2025 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships prize money and ranking points
The winner will be leaving the UAE a whole lot richer and in a much healthier state in the rankings. 500 points will be handed to them with $619,160 in
prize money also delivered to their doorstep. The runner-up can be satisfied with 330 ranking points and $333,160.
If you make it to the last-four then 200 ranking points and $177,555 is what is on offer compared to the 100 ranking points and $90,710 the quarterfinalists get. A defeat in the round-of-16 is worth 50 ranking points and $48,420 while losing in the first round gets zero ranking points and $25,825.
