After a week full of tournaments – with two ATP 500 events and an ATP 250 – the Prize Money Leaders were updated, with several changes at the top, including the rise of Alex de Minaur – champion of the ABN AMRO Open – who reaches second place, only behind Australian Open champion Carlos Alcaraz.
Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, and Felix Auger-Aliassime were other names who added significant amounts in earnings after strong campaigns in the Dallas Open and Rotterdam, and all of them maintain their positions inside the top 10. Only the top 5 already surpasses one million dollars, with Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev present despite not competing last week.

Dallas title catapults Shelton into Top 5

The ATP 500 Dallas Open delivered an exciting all-American final between Ben Shelton and Taylor Fritz, in which the 23-year-old saved three championship points against him and recovered to claim the 4th title of his career. Shelton pocketed more than $520K in prize money after the triumph, which allowed him to climb into the top 5 of the 2026 Prize Money Leaders, with a total of $1.05M. He becomes the 5th player to surpass one million dollars in earnings, joining Alcaraz ($2.8M), De Minaur ($1.44M), Novak Djokovic ($1.43M), and Alexander Zverev ($1.14M).
The Australian De Minaur precisely managed to break the trio that had dominated since the Australian Open. With Alcaraz, Zverev, or Djokovic not competing last week, De Minaur is the main beneficiary, adding more than $500K that put him in second place in season earnings.
Both De Minaur and Shelton managed to get into the top 5 thanks to their titles from last weekend, while the positions of Alcaraz, Djokovic, and Zverev owe mostly to their campaigns at the Australian Open – where the Spaniard won the title, the Serbian was runner-up, and Zverev was eliminated in the semifinals.

Auger-Aliassime back in top 10 Prize Money leaders

Behind the top 5, two players also added significant earnings last week. The Dallas runner-up was Taylor Fritz, whose three wasted match points against Shelton cost him nearly $250K. While Shelton took home $529K, Fritz had to settle for the $285K prize. Still, the American remains No. 6 in season earnings, just a couple of wins away from surpassing one million dollars in earnings.
Another player who also earned well was Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, one of the few who, without major success in Melbourne, manages to position himself high. After the injury that forced him to retire in the first round of the Happy Slam, Felix won the title at the Occitanie Open and immediately afterwards reached the final in Rotterdam. It was eight consecutive wins and back-to-back finals that allowed him to climb in season prize money and reach the top 10, just surpassing $800K.

Limited start to 2026 keeps Sinner behind in earnings race

Perhaps a surprise to see the Italian Jannik Sinner only in 7th place in season earnings, although it should be noted that Sinner barely participated in the Australian Open and is only this week playing his second tournament of the year – while several of his top 10 peers already have 4 or 5 tournaments played this season.
The four-time major champion earned more than $800K from reaching the Australian Open semifinals – although he is more than $200K behind Zverev, the other semifinalist in Melbourne, who with participation in other tournaments has left Sinner far behind.
Also in the top 10 are Hubert Hurkacz – one of the standout players in the early season United Cup – and the Czech Jakub Mensik, who already has one title this season at the ASB Classic in Auckland, in addition to a deep run in the Australian Open, which allows him to take a position within the top 10 for season earnings.
