The ATP Ranking has been updated following the results of the 2023 Paris Masters, with Novak Djokovic moving ever closer to securing his spot as year-end No. 1 while Holger Rune fell to the edge of the Top 10.
Djokovic began his 398th week as World No. 1 after his victory against Grigor Dimitrov in the Paris Masters yesterday, Sunday, November 5. This awarded the 24-time Grand Slam champion another 1,000 points to bring his total to 11,445. This puts him a hefty 2,990 points clear of World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.
This also means that Djokovic only has to win one match at the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin to secure 400 weeks as World No. 1, and the 200 points earned from a single win at the tournament will solidify his place as year-end No. 1 even if Alcaraz wins the championships undefeated.

Rune drops to 10th as Dimitrov rises in Top 20

Meanwhile, Rune dropped three places to World No. 10 after failing to defend his Paris Masters title and being eliminated in the quarter-finals. He now sits just over 200 points above No. 11 Hubert Hurkacz, putting him in danger of leaving the Top 10.
Regarding the rest of the Top 10, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, and Casper Ruud moved up one place to No. 9, No. 8, and No. 7 respectively. At the same time, World No. 5 Andrey Rublev's run to the semi-final in Paris saw his points total increase to 5,205, putting him just 285 points behind World No. 4 Jannik Sinner.
Elsewhere, Dimitrov was the biggest mover in the Top 20, rising from No. 17 to No. 14 thanks to a run to the final in Paris. On the other hand, Felix Auger-Aliassime fell out of the Top 20 as he dropped three places to land at No. 22.
Further down the Top 100, Roman Safiullin (who pulled off a surprise win against Alcaraz in Paris) rose six places to No. 39, while 2020 US Open champion Dominic Thiem re-entered the Top 100 after he rose thirteen places to land at No. 95.
