Umpire Bernardes to Holger Rune: “I told you once in Monte Carlo, but that was fine. There are crowds that you cannot control if you do things like that… they will be worse if you keep doing it. If you just play tennis, they don’t do anything else”
Paolo Bertolucci, former Italian tennis player and current commentator heavily criticised the behaviour of Holger Rune after his line call storm at the Madrid Open against Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina.
He was involved in commentary on the Sky Sport channels and criticised Rune erasing all traces of the controversial line call.
"He behaves like a spoiled child, now he has called the physiotherapist because, not knowing what to do to annoy him, he gets his wrist bandaged.
"I would like to understand how it is possible that these things can be allowed."
