Their rivalry started was developing very quickly as did Nadal's ascension to the top of world tennis. However not long after that a new came burst onto the scene. It was
Novak Djokovic who quickly proved he is more than just a good tennis player. Fast forward to now and Djokovic is quickly building a resume worthy of arguably the best player in the world.
Speaking to Croatian newspaper Jutarnji Goran Ivasenivic spoke about the man whom he helps achieve records:
"Novak appeared at the top of world tennis after Federer and Nadal when they had already gained a large number of fans. Then a Balkan man came and messed up all their accounts. Novak says what he
thinks, and many don't like it. He speaks five languages, he is
extremely intelligent, he is interested in everything and has his own
way of life."
Ivanisevic further spoke about Djokovic and his way of going about things expressing admiration for the way he conducts himself:
"Some like the way he eats, some don't like it, some laugh at the meditation he is dedicated to, while he fully believes in it. I admire him. I watch him in the morning like practicing yoga for an hour and a half, in an indescribable, fascinating way."
