Video of Zverev telling the umpire someone in the crowd shouted the “most famous Hitler phrase in history” in match vs. Sinner #USOpen
Alexander Zverev's late night epic at the US Open was marred by an incident which saw the former hit with abuse by one fan who shouted 'the most famous Hitler phrase in history'.
Zverev made a complaint to the umpire about a comment he heard seconds before a point. He told James Keothavong about it before adding that 'it's unacceptable'.
The umpire attempted to identify the culprit, but nobody owned up. Security was dispatched into the area to try and remedy the situation. But the man in question was in fact ejected by security much to the delight of the fans behind him.
It is not the first supporter incident during the tournament, it has been marred by crowd noise in particular as noted by Daniil Medvedev who made impressions of fans who were shouting during first and second serves. Albeit not as extreme as what Zverev had.

Someone's daddy...and probably boss got kicked out of Arthur Ashe for yelling Hitler phrases to Zverev from some of the good seats during the #USOpen 🙄
