Paula Badosa shared photos on social media from her visit to her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas' hometown.
Paula Badosa recently visited the hometown of Stefanos Tsitsipas, Athens, Greece, and shared a carousel of images from her stay on her personal Instagram account, accompanied by a famous quote attributed to Plato, the ancient Greek philosopher.
The post was shared in collaboration with another Instagram account, Stiopkyn, which has been identified as an anonymous Tsitsipas account, suggesting that the couple is touring the area together.
Badosa and Tsitsipas were recently spotted in New York, where the latter competed for his first Grand Slam title. The world No. 5's campaign in Flushing Meadows came to an end in the second round at the hands of Swiss qualifier Dominic Stricker.
Meanwhile, the Spanish tennis player did not participate in the US Open due to a stress fracture in her spine that she suffered in May 2023.
During their time in Athens, Paula Badosa and Stefanos Tsitsipas shared glimpses of their exploration of the historic city, fueling speculation about their relationship. While their exact status remains private, their social media activity continues to intrigue fans and followers.
“In Athens to love and to be loved is held to be a very honourable thing.”- Plato,
The couple has been showcasing their relationship on social media for months, capturing the attention of fans as the "Tsidosa" couple. Recently, Tsitsipas expressed his appreciation for the Spanish tennis player during a press conference at the US Open.
"Having (Paula Badosa) in my life helps me a lot. It has changed my approach to the sport (tennis) in a way I never would have expected," Tsitsipas said.
"I certainly think about it a lot, but the top isn’t everything. I was addicted to this target when I was younger and this deprived me of something. The key is finding a balance between your private life, building something with someone, and moving ahead in your career with that person’s help," Tsitsipas said.
