Fans of the Cincinnati Open will be treated to more than just two weeks of thrilling tennis, as the popular event is set to release a new docuseries that will allow viewers to see what goes on off the courts.
The Cincinnati Open is a mixed ATP 1000 and WTA 1000 event, and is one of the North American hard court tournaments that is used as a lead up to the US Open. Italian Jannik Sinner defeated American Frances Tiafoe in the men's final at last year's edition, whereas World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka defeated home favorite Jessica Pegula in the women's final.
This year's version of the Cincinnati Open will be held at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, from August 11-19, 2025. However, in addition to live tennis, tournament organizers have announced they will be releasing a four-part docuseries that will chronicle the Masters event.
Entitled "Cincinnati's Open", the series will give fans an all-access look at everything that defines the prestigious tournament. Cincinnati's Open will feature never-before-seen moments, emotional storylines and exclusive interviews with top players and tournament stakeholders. It is being produced by 1831 Media Network in partnership with Beemok Sports & Entertainment.
"The Cincinnati Open has always been powered by the passion of this city and its fans,” said Bob Moran, President of Beemok Sports & Entertainment. “This docuseries gives people a behind-the-scenes view of everything that makes this event special—from the history and emotion to the vision and effort behind its next great chapter.”
“This series is more than tennis—it’s about community, legacy, and a bold vision for the future,” said Anthony Breen, Founder of The 1831 Media Network. “From the tournament’s decision to stay in Cincinnati to the massive investment into the fan and player experience to connecting with the best players in the world, fans will see what makes the Cincinnati Open one of the crown jewels of the global tennis calendar."
The docuseries will feature four episodes, with each airing on August 3, 10, 17 and 24. “Cincinnati’s Open” will be available to stream nationally on YouTube and will also air regionally throughout the Midwest on FOX19 and Rock Entertainment Sports Group.
