Andrey Rublev "Rublo" and Casper Ruud "The Iceman" have been named among the qualifiers for the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) Grand Final in London with four spots left up for grabs.
Gael Monfils "La Monf" and Yibing Wu "The Great Wall" have also qualified for the thrilling showpiece event, which is set to take place from December 15-17 at the ExCeL Centre in London.
The ground-breaking tournaments are an international tennis league founded in 2020 by tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou and businessman Alex Popyrin, father of Australian player and current World No. 41 Alexei Popyrin.
The League hosts three events throughout the year - in the United States, Germany, and South Korea - before the Top 8 players meet at the Grand Final. Each event has a modified scoring format in comparison to traditional tournaments and puts an emphasis on entertaining the crowds.

Four spots for the taking in Seoul

Wu ensured his qualification with his victory at the UTS event in Los Angeles, defeating Taylor "The Hot Shot" Fritz in sudden death on Day 3. Following this, Rublev booked his place in London by winning the UTS in Frankfurt last month, ousting his friend Grigor "G-Unit" Dimitrov for the trophy.
Meanwhile, Monfils secured his spot after amassing enough points from his performances at UTS events this year, which will be confirmed with his appearance at the last Showdown in Seoul. Moreover, Ruud's place was confirmed after he was granted the first wild card.
There are three ways in which players can seal their place in the final, including winning the tournament in Seoul, which will take place from November 30 - December 2. Alternatively, they can enter by finishing as one of the Top 3 in the UTS Race Ranking or can be invited as a wild card.
The competitors signed up for the Seoul UTS are Nick "King" Kyrgios, "La Monf" Gael Monfils, "The Machine" Soon-Woo Kwon, "The Bublik Enemy" Alexander Bublik, Richard Gasquet "The Virtuoso", Jan-Lennard Struff "The Thunder", Reilly Opelka "The Bot" and Milos Raonic "The Missile".
