Who is set to miss 2023 US Open including Raducanu, Nadal and Kyrgios

The 2023 US Open is set to kick off on August 28th, with several top ATP and WTA superstars vying for the final Grand Slam trophy of the season.
Although the event will feature the best that professional tennis has to offer, a few notable names will be missing from Flushing Meadows this year.
Nadal, Raducanu headline list of absentees due to injury bug
Former World No.1 Rafael Nadal will not be competing in New York this year, as the Spaniard is still recovering from a hip injury that has plagued him since the Australian Open earlier this year.
2021 champion Emma Raducanu will also be missing from this year's US Open, as the former British No.1 underwent two wrist surgeries and an ankle operation that has sidelined her for the past four months.
Australian tennis ace Nick Kyrgios has been hampered by injuries for the bulk of the 2023 season, and will not be participating at the tournament. Canadian Denis Shapovalov and German big-hitter Jan-Lennard Struff have also announced their withdrawal from this year's event.
