Italy will host the
Davis Cup Final 8 from 2025 to 2027, the ITF has announced. As a result both the Davis Cup Finals and ATP Finals will be hosted for the next six seasons between Bologna, Turin and Milan.
The last three editions of the prestigious six-day finale has been successfully hosted by the Region of Andalusia in the city of Malaga drawing 65,000 spectators this year. The 2025 Final 8 will be staged in Bologna, Italy.
Italy first competed in the Davis Cup in 1922 and has won the title three times (1975, 2023 and 2024). They have finished runners-up six times (1960, 1961, 1977, 1979, 1980, 1998). Nicola Pietrengeli has won the most in Davis Cup both singles and doubles, most ties and years played.
While Italy won it this year at the hands of Jannik Sinner and Matteo Berrettini and they have won it two years in a row so now will take part as the home nation also the week after the ATP Finals in Turin making it easier for big names to travel over. In addition, that will also move to Milan so all major tournaments will be in Italy for the foreseeable future.
