The Moselle Open final has been confirmed with Jo Wilfried Tsonga set to take on Aljaz Bedene in Metz in another milestone on the Frenchman's return to the sport.

It is his fifth final in the tournament and compared to last year when he lost to defending champion Peter Gojowczyk in his first match since knee surgery; he is now into the final of an ATP 250 event.
Tsonga edged past Lucas Pouille in a 7-6, 7-6 victory dropping only three points behind his first serve (23/26) in the process and he is on the verge of making it 4/5 titles in the tournament.
The 34-year old spoke after the victory and gave praise to his opponent saying he is playing confidently and that he is looking forward to a battle.
"I know Aljaz has improved a lot since we last played," said Tsonga. "He is playing very confidently now. He has been playing amazing all week, serving really well. I am looking forward to a big battle, a difficult match, but I am going to do everything to try and lift the trophy for a fourth time.”

Bedene battles past Paire with maiden ATP crown in sights

Bedene on the other hand stormed past Benoit Paire 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 coming from a set down as he aims for his maiden ATP Tour title.
The World No.76 has seen off three French players in four matches and he will need to overcome the toughest test yet in Tsonga. After defeating Paire though he felt good after seeing off tricky opposition.
“Benoit is a tricky player. He was really serving well in the first set,” said Bedene. “He served a few double faults at the beginning of the second and then I started to play, serve and feel better and I felt more like previous matches. Overall, I feel very good.”
