Rafael Nadal may not return for most of the rest of the season as he announced his withdrawal from his beloved Roland Garros on Thursday afternoon.

Nadal announced that he has no date for his return likely ruling out Wimbledon and the US Open later this year, with the Davis Cup Finals being the first goal in mid September.

But also he dropped a retirement bombshell with Nadal admitting that 2024 could be his last season ever.

‘Too many days I have been stopping with too much pain. I don’t know when I will come back to the practice court. Maybe 2 months, 3, 4," said Nadal.

I am following my personal feelings for my body and personal happiness. My goal is to try to enjoy next year. Which will probably be my last.’

BREAKING 🚨 Nadal has announced that he will not be playing tennis in the upcoming tournaments. There is no date for his return. When he is physically and mentally ready, he will return to the court. The first goal is the 2023 Davis Cup. Next year may be his last season ever.
