Coco Gauff is into her first ever WTA semi-final at the Upper Austria Ladies Linz having seen off Kiki Bertens 7-6, 6-4 on Friday.
Gauff is only 15 but in recent months has shown talent beyond her years and that continues in this case.
The American herself has had some fortune even getting to this point losing in the first round of qualifying she was a lucky loser and has now claimed her first win over a top ten player.
She will now go into the top 100 in the world no matter what; now it is former top 10 player Andrea Petkovic as she aims for her first ever singles final.
To start proceedings, it was very evenly matched but she turned the screw in the tie break; seeing Bertens make multiple unforced errors.
In the next set, Gauff claimed a solitary break and didn't look troubled on her own serve which was the difference and on her second match point; it was a well-deserved victory.
