WTA DRAW 2024 San Diego Open featuring Jessica PEGULA, Leylah FERNANDEZ, Caroline WOZNIACKI and Beatriz HADDAD MAIA

The next big tournament before Indian Wells has seen the draw confirmed as the San Diego Open will take place between February 26 - March 3, 2024 with the tournament synonymous with the winner claiming a surfboard for sealing the title. Jessica Pegula leads the field making her return for the first time since the Australian Open.

Pegula had a neck injury and had fans speculating she was pregnant which she denied and has also split with long-time coach, David Witt. She will face either a qualifier or Varvara Gracheva in the second round. Second seed is Beatriz Haddad Maia. She faces Lesia Tsurenko or Katie Boulter.

Leylah Fernandez, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Donna Vekic after a good few weeks are also involved. The former faces Tatjana Maria in the first round. Caroline Wozniacki after skipping the Middle Eastern swing will also be involved and faces Anna Blinkova to start. The victor then faces Caroline Dolehide or Dayana Yastremska. Marta Kostyuk and Emma Navarro complete the main seeds.
