In addition, Carlos Alcaraz has become the eighth Spaniard in history to reach the semifinals of the ATP Finals, after Nadal himself, David Ferrer, Manuel Orantes, Carlos Moya, Alex Corretja, Sergi Bruguera and Juan Carlos Navarro, his current coach.
